When it comes to Christmas shopping, I always have the most fun shopping for my 12-year-old sister. It’s so exciting to go into the store and look for cutesy items that I wouldn’t normally shop for. I pretty much know what she likes and what her style is. Anything girly, glamorous, and crystal embroidered she loves! So I thought it’d be fun to do a quick holiday gift guide for tween and teen girls. Some of you may have tween/teen siblings, nieces or godchildren; I hope this gift guide helps. These gift ideas may also work for a girly girlfriend on your list. Take a look below!
1. Cute iPhone Covers. What girl doesn’t love a cute iPhone case?? I mean, the more bling the better! Stores like Forever 21 have cute ones, but you can also shop these online as well. Amazon, Etsy and even eBay have plenty girly, frilly and glam options!

2. Fancy & Fun Beanies. I’m seeing a lot of these character and animated-like beanies lately, so I think it’s safe to say that it’s a tween/teen girl trend. I guess if you’re going to dress for the cold winter, you might as well look cute and be trendy while doing it.

3. Anything Beauty. Being the pageant queen that she is, my little sis loves just about anything that has to do with beauty. Lip gloss, eye shadow, nail polish…you name it, she loves it! Gifting a cute makeupbag to store all those goodies is a perfect idea.

4. Blank Journals. When I was a teen, I really enjoyed wiritng in my journal/diary. I’ve started my little sis with this same practice by gifting her a gratitude journal. I think journaling is a great way for tweens/teens to write down their feelings and thoughts. I encourage my sister to get it all out by writing or talking. Anything you can do to get tweens/teens to positively express themselves is a plus. Check out Barnes & Nobels, Marshall’s and Target for some great journals to gift!

5. Headbands. This is yet another trend that has swept the tween/teen nation; cat ear headbands. I for one don’t get it, but I think it’s cute. It’s yet another form of expression I guess. Forever 21, Claire’s and eBay are the best places to go for these trendy items.
